Dr. Vladimir A. Karamychev is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Erasmus School of Economics, and a fellow of Tinbergen Institute. He holds a PhD in microeconomic theory and has published in international academic journals such as Economic Journal, Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics. He has over 15 years of experience in developing back-side software (tools) assisting technically complex analysis of economics problems. In his latest academic work, Vladimir Karamychev analyses efficiency properties of Combinatorial Clock Auctions, and their gaming possibilities. He has also practical experience working in teams of consultants, providing them with numerical tools for in-depth analysis of issues in CCA and SMRA. Combining deep knowledge in economics and software engineering is one of his valuable assets in numerical analysis.
